Well, we shot a deer, so I boiled the neck roast and the leg bones. I picked the meat off and threw the meat back in the broth. Then I started pulling out all the jars of veggies I canned from our garden this year. Peeled a couple of potatoes and carrots and now I have a huge roaster oven of vegetable soup simmering on low all night. Tomorrow I should have 20 quarts of home made vegetable soup to put on the shelf.

It sure will be good on a cold winter's night. Plus it will be a nice cheap meal since all the vegetables and meat came from what we provided.
