Check out this electric model - I don't know if big enough but it is only about $10.00 more than a #32 and dosen't require any jury rigging...

I simply added a 3/4 hp motor with a pulley on it and added a pulley to my meat grinder and use a regular V belt you buy at an auto parts store. All are mounted on pieces of 2x12 so I can set them where I want on the table with C clamps and seems to work well. Been doing it for years :)

Oh forgot....ordered the pulley from Northern Tool and Equip....they have the pulley on the grinder...sales lady sold it to me separately as a replacement part.

Ball bearing where?? I've never seen a grinder with ball bearings in the grinding head. I've had several, and still have a very good (american made) electric model, all of them were/are sleeved in the head.. (crank side)

The one i own has a bronze bearing, and i'm sure it will last the rest of my life... I put a dab of cooking oil on it with every use..

Adding a pully on a grinder does add, added stress to that end, so i wouldn't run it too fast, and i'd keep it well oiled...
