2 loaves of frozen bread dough (white or wheat)
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (divided)
1/2 cup finely diced pepperoni
1 egg
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp oregano
some Marinara sauce for dipping

Thaw bread dough. Mix ricotta and mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan, pepperoni, egg and spices. set aside.

Cut thawed loaves into 48 pieces. On floured surface, flatten each piece so it's about 2 1/2 in. in diameter.

Top each round with 1 tsp of filling mixture. Fold half on top of itself, and pinch edges to seal. Brush with butter and roll in remaining Parmesan.

Place filled dough pieces on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake in 375* oven for 15 minutes. Let em cool (slightly) on a wire rack. Serve with some Marinara sauce for dipping.

I serve these with a small salad and some Italian wedding soup and it's a great lunch.
