Anyone try this? I heard about it recently and tried it last night. Worked pretty well, tho I didnt do it to the degree thay they did. I used scrap lumber and laid about 4" in the bottom of the wood stove, and built a regular fire on top of it of smaller wood. Lasted all night and much of the day, as if I had used large log pieces.
