Saturday nights (if we were good all week), my folks would treat us to this dessert. I made it for my wife once, and now she asks for it all the time (the dessert ;))
Take some Puddin mix that requires cooking. I think chocolate is the only way to go on this, but that's just my opinion. After it gets done, while it's still hot, put it in a bowl. Go to the icebox and scoop out a big hunk of French vanilla ice cream and drop it down right on top of the puddin. Now this isn't anything creative or fancy, but it's really a good dessert.
