Pea/bean shellers

I am going to need one. Just don't have time to shell by hand.

Anyone have a recommendation. Mind you I will be shelling purple hulls, crowder, cream peas. Not what you northern folk would consider peas but what we southern folks consider gourmet food.

I feel your 'need' mom2! Unfortunately all the reseach I've done (to include many of the 'more mature' women at church) end with the same answere: there is just nothing as efficant as the two hands God gave us in getting the job done. Both the hand crank and electric versions of pea shellers make a real mess and get horrible reviews. Many homemade versions out there and with a high enough lip around the rollers are desent enough.
