I was going to make some jerky. I have things to make a marinade but I wanted something to sprinkle on the meat after marinating to give extra flavor. I don't have "jerky seasoning" but I do have McCormick Grill Mates Spicy Steak seasoning. Ingredients include: salt, black pepper, red pepper, dill seed, coriander seed, garlic, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, and extractives of dill and paprika. Do y'all think it would be a good substitute?

Just about perfect. I'd use it

Oh, it turned out pretty good. It definitely had a lot of flavor! I would definitely use it again.

Me. I just bang in some chili powder, or wasabi, or even tumeric: that is, I belt the half-dried meat flat with a dose of spice.
