The few times I have had squirrel it was pretty much prepared like catfish is. Soak the meat for a few days in your favorite formula to take out the gamminess and the bread the meat in your favorite mix of breading or meal, then fry. Tasted pretty good.

Squirrel is good fried or BBQed. Fox squirrel can be really tough and chewy so I personally like it best cooked in a pressure cooker for a little while the add it and some BBQ sauce to a crock pot and slow cook it.
