What's your favorite utensil other than a good knife? As I said on the knife post I have a small metal spatula that I love. In fact I think I got it in the cake decorating suppy area at Wal-Mart.

My little Pampered Chef wire whisk. It makes the smoothest gravy. ;) I have two of them.

Not really utensils, but my George Foreman grill, my electric rotisserie and my vegetable steamer.

Kitchen-Aid Mixer Dough hook attatchment... I hate kneading dough for hours... I used a bread machine only on the knead cycle before.

I would have to say my two sided small rolling pin......

On one side it's flat and round for regular rolling out,on the other it's tapered for rolling pie crusts right in the pan.........I love it!

Holly what on earth is a Kenwood chef? I've never heard of it but it sounds interesting.

A Kenwood Chef is an electric mixer that has attachments. They are built to last-ours is from the 70's. The mixer part is interchangeable-dough hook for bread, balloon whisk, multi-purpose 'k' beater etc. On the top is a place you can attach a mincer, juicer or whatever. Maybe they are a British thing?

....have to laugh...

Our favorite is a small 'pancake turner' that was a 'decoration' ON one of our wedding gifts 26+ years ago! Each time we go into a cooking store or something similar or if we are in that giant 'W' store, we chk and see if we can find a replacement should this one ever give out...to date about 10 'replacements' none of which have replaced the One! It's just so perfect for turning eggs w/o breaking yolks! Sigh, the quest continues!

I love using a serving fork... does everything! No, no, I really like a good stiff whisk (but you cant beat a good, long, wooden spoon) you know, the kind that the kids hate to see in your hand when you have anger in your eyes... but then there is the stainless spatula, which is a great tool; but of course, my vote, during tomato season, is my food mill from www.lehmans.com which makes short work of a tedious job... did I mention my Jaccard mandolin??? LOL.
Dont make me choose, I dont want to! I cant... I wont!!!!

Of course, speaking of knives, who besides me uses a ceramic knife? They are AWESOME! (but very pricey)

No doubt about it. My Vacuum Sealer is my favorite kitchen utensil. Don't even like to think about all the years I did without one.
