;D Today I found what I call a "volunteer" chili piquin plant on the south side of my trailer. I admit to having seen the plant there and debating on whether or not I was going to "pull up that weed" the next time it rained and the ground was soft. I went over on that side of the trailer this morning to pick up a plastic glass someone had dumped in my yard and give it to the neighbor and I realized that my "weed" actually had tiny hot peppers on it. Yipee!!! All I have to do now is pull the ripe ones off the plant, put them into a jar, and pour vinegar over them to make my own hot sauce. Boy will that go good on that canned spinach that I've avoided using because I didn't have anyting to season it with.

I think if you soak a ripe dried pepper in vinegar for a few hours, it can be planted and will grow. That's what I heard anyway.
