Can't Login to Chat with Username and Pass

For some reason I can't login to the chat anymore even when I enter my user name and Password that it now requires. It says I have an invalid user name or password. But I can still log into the forums. Is it due to not having enough post's?

Ignore this post I just saw the information at the bottom of the chat page about contacting an admin.

Just to get this out to the general membership:

The Chat Room now requires all members to log in with their Forum Username and Password. If you have been in the Chat Room in the past week or so, you are probably already registered here. If not, please read the following:

Chat Room Access
If your Username/Password does not work here and you are known to admin or to a Global Moderator you will be granted quick access. Send an IM to admin AND the Moderator who knows you requesting access.

If you are a new member or are not known in the Forum and you registered using your primary, traceable email address issued by your Internet Service provider, send an IM to admin requesting access.

Note that Juno, AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, and other such web-based email addresses do not qualify because they can be obtained without revealing your identity.

If the email address in your profile is web-based, please send a request from your primary, traceable email address to webmaster@backwoodshome.com Subject = Chat Room access. Include your Forum Username and the first four characters of your password. Requests from web-based email addresses will be deleted.

We apologize for the necessity of the stringent security measures made necessary by recent abuse of the Forum and Chat room.

Since I dumped my cable internet and have gone with a wireless connection, all I have is a Gmail account. Does this mean I can't get into the chat anymore?

I'm In the same situation Dawgus. I don't have a service provider email address. Hopfully I can still get added to the list...

The chat has never worked for me anyway, i've tried many times to get in, but my puter says NO.

Do you have Java installed on your computer? Just a thought but, maybe that's why your computer doesn't want you in the chat? It has always worked for me... both before and after the password protection.

What happens if you don't know a mod and have a gmail account? :o I liked chatting with some of you :'(

I see you have 174 posts If you Im admin I am sure he will look at your post history and join date and base his descion on that.
