Does any one know of a wood stove that hooks up to a 3 inch pipe ?

Maybe a gas hot water heater.

I'm not aware of anything however perhaps there is a forced draft that could be integrated. I just don't see having enough normal draft to be practical for a 3" flue. Most are at least 6" and go upwards to 10".

I think some smaller camping wood stoves might use smaller flues.

These guys go down to 4 inch

Assuming the fuel type and natural draft velocity is similar in two stoves, a 3 inch flue should be able to support roughly 25% the combustion rate and BTU output of a 6 inch flue. For something like a small camp, or camper, or tent, or ice shack, or a boat; I can see a 3 inch flue working very well. I could also see using one in a large home, not for heating the whole house just for space heating and cooking and so forth, but there could be issues if you had to get such a stove approved.

typically 3" vent pipe is only double walled and not rated for a wood stove.
