Does anyone actually use the chat room?

I wondered that myself until I read Forum/Chat Info in the left column.

You can now just choose a user name and NO password to enter the chat room. whenever I log in here to read the posts I also open a new window and log into the chat room.

I wondered all the same things and I'm new, just a few posts on the forums. But now I have subscribed for the chat room and as soon as I approved I will certainly be in there some. My user name is junegy. Let's yak!

People used to use it quite a bit. I have noticed that hardly anyone ever uses it anymore. Maybe posting a day and time when everyone wants to use it would work.

used to go there a lot, but, it got awful lonesome there being by myself.

Up near the top of the page, next to the "Who's in the Chat Room" button are suggested meeting times for the Chat Room.

If you click in the button, it tells you if anyone is in chat. If nobody is there, why not log in in a different window while you're reading the Forum. Just be sure to keep an eye on the Chat window so you see when someone else logs in!

Remember- to use the Chat Room your browser must have Java enabled, not just javascript.

Hey that is a good idea .. log on to the chat while you browse the site .. but it may not let you know untill u check back. or we can make a group thingy on YAHOO IM and it really connects you .. you can leave off line messages and it shows you who is logging on and tons of other stuff to better connect us all ..
