Pretty cool stuff. Most of the land I see in my area is euphamistically called "hilly" so you folks have been opening my eyes to the possibility of water power.

You should checkout The Other Power, its a forum with a lot of smart people that do some amazing things with very little head and low volumes.they have a section dedicated to micro-hydro-power.
Again, not to send people away from here,but its a good resource.

i am biulding an off grid home as we speak. i am planning on useing an LH1000. the hydro installer i was going to use returned my down payment and say he cant do my job. im left hanging. does any know an installer in upstate new york.
