I want to let you folks know how much I enjoy the site. Great bunch of people and a wealth of information. I have a suggestion too, if you don't mind. I wouldn't be surprised if It's been brought up in the past, but since I haven't seen anything about it...... How about a place for folks to sell or trade things? Big items could be sold/traded locally and the small stuff can be sent anywhere.

We have had requests for that before, but since the Backwoods Home Magazine sponsors us, and since they have classified ads that are a source of revenue, we don't do buying and selling because it would compete with them.

In fact, many members get pretty riled up if anyone misses the rule against advertizing anything . . . and call them spammers! I think they had a swap meet at the magazine site for a while, but it disappeared, or I just imagined it! :)
