I really like the new homestead board. Thanks!!

I was wondering if perhaps the who's in chat window could be left open so that when you log into the forum you can see if anyone is in chat. There haven't been many people in there lately, but if you could see that people where in there when you log it might encourage more people to chat...
Just a thought.

I really like that idea as well.

Good idea. I'll see if that's possible.

I was not able to find a way to display who is in the chat room, except once, similar to using the button.

However, what you can do is to log into chat, then click on the third button from the right, the "Float & Dock" button. That will move the chat room to a smaller, resizable, floating window.

DO NOT close the browser window from which you entered the Chat Room. But you can open other windows to return to the Forum, or surf anywhere else.

Resize your browser and the Floating chat so they are both visible at the same time. Then, if anyone else logs into the Chat Room, the Chat window will refresh, even if a different window is your "active" window.

Then you can just switch to the Chat Room window to say hello and chat.

This works with Firefox and with Internet Explorer. I've not tested it with other browsers, but I expect it will work with all.

Hmm, I didn't realize the chat would do that. I like that view much better and thanks for looking into this.
