Thanks for letting me know. Everything seems to be working fine now, so it must have been a temporary server problem.

Oliver....I dunno if I should post this in the Conspiracy Board or here, lol!
I belong to 5 *homesteading/survivalist/prepper forums.
Within the last week, ALL FIVE have had error messages, time outs, or some other type of error that prevents reading/posting.
Usually only a couple hours here and there.
Hasn't happened on the quilting, gardening, sewing or other *non-controversial* forums I go to.
Jus' sayin'.....

I'm wondering why it says Politics General under all of our names. I'm also wondering if it's always been there and I just didn't notice...and if the rosemary chicken in my fridge is still good.

While I cannot offer an informed opinion regarding your rosemary chicken, I can tell you that the "General-Politics" designation permits Members to post in the General board, and in the three boards a the bottom of the Forum.
In the past, there have been problems with some members in those boards. The designation allows me to quickly and easily deny access to those boards to any member who breaks the rules regarding posting and civility in those boards and to just as easily restore privileges after a suitable "vacation" during which it is hoped the culprit will have re-read the rules and pondered the error of his/her ways.
