With due respect !
According to your explanation text under “Frugal Living”:
“Anything to do with saving money, living for less, how to save, free stuff, etc.”
The topic "Product reviews, Jump right in!” has nothing to do with “Frugal Living”
More then half of the reviews do not mention cost, and some say the item will cost more.
So where is the savings and where is the free ?
A review is not how to save, it is what a person likes , dislikes , would or would not recommend.
A post to the topic containing short explanation and stating that they saved some money would not be out of line.
If you move a topic because someone says they like the price of or “I save money” with this or that, then you should move it again when someones post is about ammo, then again if someone mentions an animal, how about a review of a book or movie ? Maybe a review of food. Where would the moving stop ?
If a topic is clearly not in the correct forum then it should be moved ! but not if a few of the responses are slightly off topic.
Myself and some other members try to be careful on where we place a post or even at times where we respond to a post .
If you are going to move a topic to an area where you believe a response to the topic should be. Why should we take care in the wording and attempting to bring a topic back in line with the original post ?
Why not just drop the poster a note kindly reminding them of the topic at hand, and if necessary, in your opinion, delete the post or split the thread if you do not believe the post is in line with the topic.
Again , Respectfully , Otter Bob
