Sorry about that guys! We actually paid $3.67 a gallon but compared to the $3.93 that it was for what seems like years it's no wonder I made that big goof! As I say "I just open my mouth to switch feet!" LOL

This morning it was $3.50 at Wally World. Around the area here it's around $3.61

It's 4.20$ in southern California. Once it drops to 4.00$ my prediction that gas would hit 4.00$ in 2008 will be correct!

Expect the price of gas to continue falling throughout the fall and will bottom out in November/December. Also expect that the price will start to rise again come January, and next year's peak in May/June will be higher than this year.

Also expect that every single politician running for election this November will claim the price drop is the result of their (or their party's) well thought out policies!

We were paying 3.58 on the way in to work yesterday... on the way home it was 3.80ish. Which is a nice relief, considering we were over 4.40 for a few months.

Dang, I was all happy to get it for $3.68 a couple of weeks ago...I took all my cans in and got almost $200.00 worth.

Today I had to fill up at $3.89 at the discount corner; most places it's around $3.95.

I just don't understand why a state already in such economic turmoil gets hit with such high prices. It's almost like the oil companies just want to grind us down.

A few days ago, 9/ 4/ 08, I found a Lukoil selling gas for 3.49 in Dickson City, PA, outside of Carbondale. They ran out of regular, and only had high test and were selling it at the `regular` price.

As of October 7, 2009, it's $2.32 here in central Wisconsin. However, I'm waiting for my tank to get as empty as safely possible because my Roundy's (grocery store) card will give me $.60 a gallon off. You get $.10 a gallon off for each $50 you spend - - and you can build it up over several months. The trick is, once you use it you loose it, so if you only put in 5 gallons or 35 - it's the same discount and gone next time you fill. It almost makes me wish my car had a larger tank!!
