I wasn't sure where to put this but this seems like the best place.
There was a radio show on a week or so ago featuring David Blume who has written a book "Alcohol Can Be a Gas." He also has a website by the same name. He is promoting the home making with permits to use the alcohol as a replacement for gasoline.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with him or the process? It sounds like it might work if done on a co-op basis.

You are in the wrong section in a way. There are plenty of us with stills on here, but we typically discuss the making of alcohol on in the Recipe section.

We all understand why you posted your question here, but if you do some searching in the recipe section, you will see some great discussion on still designs and alcohol stuff. Of course we only use them to distill water. :P

It's been discussed here a few times.
Do a search of this forum and see what you find.
