how-do, folks.....received my " whole she-bang " recently and have been jumping around all the issues with a little bitta drool from information overload........anyway, my question pertains to china diesel gens and their ability to run and run and run....are these the ones sold through the "hardy diesel catalog? i will be replacing my honda gas 6500 and want to make sure i have a rugged,dependable unit to upgrade to. i'm tired of taking the honda to the shop.... in three years of service, i've spent enough on repairs that would have covered much of the cost of a replacement...thanks for the info.

just makesure whatever you get, that you can get parts to fix stuff when ever. We have some Russian Tractors in this area.. They were cheep and the newcomers got them...but when a simple part went, they could not be fixed in a day like the other products.

IIRC an old issue of BHM had an article on the CD's. they covered a bit about setting them up and even talked about making a better muffler system for it by running the exhaust through a 55 gal drum buried in the ground.
