I was wondering if it is possible to convert something like those repellent devices that plug directly into the wall to keep pests, rodents, and insects away? It has NO CORD just plugs directly to the wall. I was wanting to buy some of those to see if they really work. Mice still showing up now and then. I was wanting to run those off of a small solar panel (charges 4 AA batteries at a time) that is a solar shed light and use those batteries that way the devices are always activated. I have no running electricity.
Thx.

Converting them may be a chore.. :-/
Do the devices have any power rating on them anywhere? You may get away with using a small inverter running from a battery being charged with a solar panel..
Didn't you get a set of those panels from Harbor Freight?

To answer your question, yes, but it would be very inefficient.
Side note. I saw a test of those ultrasonic sound things on TV. None worked, and one actually ATTRACTED bugs. Opposite of the intended purpose I would say.
