anything coming from alex jones should be well salted before consuming. Though there is some truth to his rants, he embellishes the story to the point of absurdity. Read the laws for your state on the subject to get the facts.

I can still sleep soundly, not worrying that someone somewhere is secretly trying to clone myself or family members.

But, there is a more pressing problem that needs to be addressed right now, because the technology is being used in court cases NOW. Your DNA can be used to generate a DNA fingerprint that can be codified and placed in a computer database. In a recent case, the DNA evidence of a rapist was used to track down an individual in the database because that individual had a SIMILAR, but not identical DNA fingerprint. This EVIDENCE was enough to arrest and charge that individual with rape, though he got lucky and the real rapist was caught before he when to trial. This person's liberty was dependent solely on a few DNA bands on a gel that indicated that he was a rapist! There is an uproar in LA county right now as to who should be in charge of the LA county crime lab because of mismanagement like this.

I have a good bullshit filter. I visit mr. jones' website for the "canary in the coal mine" perspective and examine his info with other info that I find. Often, the truth is more mundane AND more sinister. take this particular case. DNA will not be used to clone people.

DNA testing will be done for healthcare and eugenic reasons. in the near future it will be used to identify people with genetic predispositions for certain diseases. those individuals will be charged more money for health insurance. for people with low income, the DNA results of the population will be used to justify higher taxes and more socialized health care for low income people.

Possible? yes. we have the technology. plausible? yes. governments are always looking for reasons to raise taxes, and insurance companis are always looking for ways to raise rates. aceptable? yes. in our culture, we expect people to pay their way, unless they are poor, then we all need to pitch in and help.

In the more distant future, it will be used as a rationalization for denying marriage licenses and banning certain couples from having children. they will tell certain people that they can't get married because their children will be retarded, unhealthy, autistic, etc. the real goal is to reduce all races to the same proportions in society, or to change the society into all mixed race. the govt. likes to think of us as farm animals and would like to breed us as farm animals.

This sequence of events is possible. we have the technology. It is plausible. eugenics by a government has been done in the past. usually it was misguided and bore the label "genocide"(nazis and their master race). It is acceptable. a generation of children has been taught the virtues of multiculturalism and political correctness. they will accept a eugenic program willingly, especially one that makes everyone healthy and multiracial.
