View Full Version : CCRKBA a legitimate organzation?

I recently received a "gun owner census document" from the "Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA)." Not only was I asked to fill out the census, they asked for a donation (what else is new?).

Is this a legit organization or is it a scam?

I'd tell them where they can shove their unsolicited census...any kind of gun-owner census seems antithetical to the whole RKBA cause. Screw 'em.

They appear to be staunch ssupporters of the second amendment as it was written.

I'd email them and ask why they are collecting this data?
Perhaps it's a scam and they don't know that someone is using their name; it's not the first time this has happend.

Good idea. Even though I didn't solicit their letter, it could still be legit, but the only way to find out is to contact them.

Yes, they're legit. They're headquartered out here in the Seattle area.

Good idea. Although the folks on our side would probably never mis-use the info, who knows who will get their hands on it...

Someone getting their hands on that info is my point!!

We are betrayed in this country every minute of every day---

There was a poster --i dont see anymore---that chewed me out 7 ways from sun-down for talking about the weapon at my bedside---He was an Ex-cop----he told me to Shut up--which most folks wouldnt dream of doing---

You know what?? He was right---in the political correctness--homeland security atmosphere of this particular point-in time-None has any business with my personal business-Its too dangerous for me---for you and for them.

we have been sold out for a snail darter--whats a few names between enough dead presidents?
