I don't know much about any of these countries, only what i know from the history of my times.
It took norman schwartskoph, sr. and kermit roosevelt, o.s.s., early c.i.a., ten years to destabelize the iranian governemnt to have a coup in 1953.
Norman Schwartzkoph was master mind of the coup.
He had been with n. j. state police and worked with the lindbergh case when their baby was kidnapped and murdered.
They reorganized the police force to include only those favorable to their plan, and caused riots in the streets with demonstrations they planned and executed.
Apparently, russia who had one of the largest oil deposts in the world at baku, needed warm water ports so had to go through iran to deliver their oil world wide.
They got rid of the elected mossedeq and put the shah in power.
They nicknamed the shah boyscout, meaning that he was always prepared (for them).
I forget most of it, but remember the iranian embassy parties in d.c. while we lived there.
The man next door in the duplex we occupied was a white house photographer and covered many of the embassy parties.
It was easy to crash these parties in those days.
Sue would carry his photograph equipment around after crashing their parties at the iranian embassy.
When it got too hot in those days, people would stroll outdoors and sue would slip right in when they returned to the embassy proper.
She met shelly winters and barbara streisand and others at these parties, along with the body guard of zaheddi, the shah's uncle. They dated for awhile, and he visited our humble abode every so often to pick her up.
Also there was another man she dated some who got murdered. He had an identical twin and the newspapers came to ask if she had a picture of him and her, which she didn't .
Sue had a snazzy car at the time, and one day she passed the bodyguard and zaheddi.
She tooted at the guard, and zaheddi thought it was one of his many women friends, and waved back with delight , and the bodyguard tried to sink into the sidewalk.
I think it was at one of their parties that the kennedys came, including ted and rose and some kids, and she sat with the kids at the next table and got picks of herself with rose and ted.
She could *have worked with him a lot but didn't want to carry his stuff around all night and do other things he wanted, like picking up some of the flowers to bring home. It was too demeaning. ha.
She was very young and beautiful in those days, and too damn independant.

I think this is all i can remember at the moment, but wanted to post it before if forgot.
Al took pics of the kennedy kids' parties, and has a wealth of pics going to pot, and i keep telling his kids to pay attention and salvage what they could, and no one seems to care.
His wife, my friend, spent hours developing these pics so they could sell them to everyone at the parties who wanted pics of themselves with celebraties, etc.
Bill had an office next to als and the fbi or someone would come there to talk to al and see who was talking to whom and asked him about these middle easterners even way back then and wanted to make sure he got certain shots they wanted to use.
When al wasn't there, they would talk to bill and ask a lot of questions about al.
