It didn't take long before the new Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the new chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Rep. John Conyers started making noises on how they can further undermine efforts to protect Americans from terrorist attacks.

Speaker-elect Pelosi (D-CA) is co-sponsoring the "End Racial Profiling Act", according to syndicated columnist Sher Zieve. The proposed bill is said to have been prompted by the recent removal of six Muslim imams, who are reported to have acted in a decidedly provocative manner, from a US Airways’ flight. The problem with using this act to curb so-called profiling is that the persons who demanded the removal of the suspcious Muslims do not work for the US government.

Pelosi and Conyers are calling for the end of all racial profiling, additional severe limits placed on the Patriot Act and the implementation of broad-based US citizenship for illegal aliens.

Pelosi said, "Since September 11th, many Muslim Americans have been subjected to searches at airports and other locations based upon their religion and national origin, without any credible information linking individuals to criminal conduct. Racial and religious profiling is fundamentally un-American and we must make it illegal."

I agree with ranger rick. And I don't think it is Hatemongering(another liberal buzzword) when you call a spade a spade. If it is the mexicans causing the problems, what is so wrong in saying so. If it is the muslims causing the problems, what is wrong in saying so. It goes back to the statement that goes something like this, "if something is killing the chickens, look for the fox, not the other chickens." All the political correctness BS(more liberal double speak) is just another way to keep the sheeple in line with liberal agenda. One other thing, why is so bad to be proud of my race? I didn't know it was illegal to dislike certain people. tightass and poncho in these forums sure do play the race card anytime something is said about taking care of the mexican invasion or the threat from terrorist muslims. These groups are the ones that are causing the issues, so I have no problem pointing the finger and saying "these are the people we need to worry about and do something about". I've simply identified the problem's source and want to fix it.

But as time goes by he starts eating freely out of your garden and maybe helping himself to a few free eggs from the henhouse. At this point you start to get concerned. But as time goes by this does not bother you so much. But soon he's got his whole family living on your property and your garden is getting plucked clean and there are no eggs in your henhouse. He moves into your house and starts having sex with your sister. Now you really are pissed. Cause when he marries your sister that makes him part of your family. And family comes first now don't it. How do you feel now? But this ain't the end of the story TightWad, the strangers second cousin has a grudge with ya, so he comes onto your property (you have seen him before at Thanksgiving) with a bomb strapped on his back and blows your house to kingdom come. tw, i noticed you continue to spew the term "hatemonger" but didn’t answer the charge that illegal alien isn’t a race.

so Muslims complain because they get checked at airports. Hey, I get checked all the time. can't they see I am a harmless grandma? Why do they keep checking me? Do you think I should write to Pelosi and she will stop it? Husband was searched intensively while the guy in front of him wearing a kaftan and a checkered tablecloth on the head was not. this is not about catching terrorists.
Oh, TW would not mind them camping on his lawn, he would invite them in the house and he would not mind paying for their health care out of his pocket either. The funny thing is, I just read an article that even though liberals talk a lot, it is "the right" who actually does a lot more and gives a lot more. a lot of hot air blowing around. I have my own experience on a small level. I was invited to a homesteaders get together that consisted of only liberals. I had my slightly mentally handicapped son along, nobody said one single word to him, he was totally ignored by everyone present. He is a social soul and tried to strike up a conversation with several of the men. He got totally ignored. It is not that he is a slobbering fool, he looks normal, talks about sports, reads very well. we left. When we went to church the folks treated him nice, they talk to him, pat him on the shoulder, send him a card for christmas and his birthday, offered to help him move. Maybe if he were from some exotic place it would have been worth the time to say hi to him.
