How do I insert a photo into a post?

First, you must load the picture to an internet site such as www.photobucket.com. There are several free sites like this one.

After you upload the picture, the site will give you several formats to use for a link. You should copy the direct link to use here.

Now open a post and write what you need to. When you are ready to place the picture, click on the second icon in the bottom row above the smiley faces - it looks like a little picture with a white frame.

That will place some code, along with instructions that you will delete. Inside of the Img code and brackets, paste the link. Use Preview (It's a button at the bottom of the post box where you type.) to make sure you can see the picture. If you don't see it, go back and check to see what is wrong. The square brackets "[ " and "]" surround the word "Img" that is code for a picture. The same thing at the end of the link with a slash is code to end the command.

Create an account ( Free! ) and upload the pictures.
You may need to reformat or re-size them.
(Folks with a slow internet connection would prefer that you make your pictures smaller and lower the quality.
That will make the page load faster for them. )
