Well kids and kiddies I and a couple friend are blasting off for the Republic of Texas to visit a friend. You're going to have to survive without me for 4 whole days so please no crying. ::) ::) I shall return well weather permitting sense were flying down in one of them small lil airplanes I grew up in. Leave out at 7 and should be in Texas around noon with one fuel stop. You all have a wonderful end of the week and a great weekend and I will see you sometime Monday. Be kind safe and happy

I'm back safe and sound but a day early :'( One of my companions had to come back early for work. I told him he shouldn't of brought his cell phone. ;D We all had a great time and I soak up them good 70 degree days and got rid of my frost bite. But seeing some of the local garden being put in has given me spring fever and wanting to plant away. But my garden still as about 6 inches of snow on top of it.
I have a share of a flying club that owns 4 airplanes all Cessnas ones a 150 two are 172's and a 182 we took the 182. It was a nice flight down and well we didn't forget our fuel stop and far as them airplane hating geese we didn't spot any but we did smash a few bugs while in Texas ;D ;D

Im glad you made it back home safe and sound.
Things are kinda looking "Springy" here in Texas. We just need rain and lots of it.

I also am glad you had a safe flight. I worked for an older man that bought a 211 Mooney, (it's a 201 with some FAA aproved mods for more speed) and flew down with him to St. Louis on the airlines to get it and bring it back. Supposed to be a one day trip but we got stormed in for 3 days and then another day in Evansville, Indiana.
I am going back to bed or I would tell you the story. That was a trip I'll never forget. Tell you about it later. It's a long read.

Best explanation of a small plane trip is this.
Mooney and Bonanza pilots land at home and print out time, fuel, distance charts.
Us Cessna drivers just clean out the cheese cracker crumbs, and pop cans.
