Can I say more than one? :D

I really like old, traditional songs, in their native languages, perferrably a capella. Love choirs.

In Dulce Jublio
Dormi, Dormi
Es Ist Ein Rosentsprungen
Gloria in Excelsis Deo (the 15th cent. "version")
Brahm's 'Child In A Manger"
Stille Nacht
Ombra Mai Fu
any version of Ave Maria
Three Kings from Persian Lands Afar (oh, especially when a good strong baritone sings it, it's definitely a song written for a man to sing!)
The English version of Gloria, In Excelsis Deo that starts 'Shepherds in the field abiding, tell us when the Seriph bright, greeted you with wondrous tidings, what ye saw and heard that night".

I admit I'm not too fond of the Frosty the Snowman/White Christmas type songs.

Yeah, I know. :-[

"Oh Come let us adore Him"
"Oh Holy Night"

I like how they sing praising Jesus.

Anything I can sing the alto part to. ;)

-What Child is This (Greensleeves)

-O Holy Night

-Away in a Manger (first one I learned as a child)

Least favorite: Go Tell It On the Mountain, with the Twelve Days of Christmas coming in a close second.

O Holy Night and Greensleeves. I love the Gregorian Chants and The Lessons and Carols music.

It is this time of year, I wish I could carry a tune. sigh

I love all the Jesus-centered Christmas songs, like O Come All Ye Faithful and O Holy Night, but the song I find myself singing this time of year is The Christmas Song ("Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose...") The gentle melody and all the images the words bring back is like comfort food to me...it reminds me of all the good things I treasured about Christmas as a child.

I'm not a religous person but I do love the old hymns. O Holy Night, and Come All ye Faithful are my favorites. I do enjoy Elvis singing Blue Christmas as well.

Our mens group sang Gloria in Excelsis Deo (in unk cent. version) in acapella we practiced forever. There wasn't a dry eye in the place ( it was a surprise to the church) I still don't know if the women were crying because we were that good or that bad. ;D

You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch
Author: Dr. Seuss

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.

I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Grinch.

Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crockodile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Grinch.

The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."

You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Grinch.

Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.

You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce.

I did not write that but, it rocked when I was a kid. :)

How could I have forgotten 'Once In Royal David's City'. This was written primarily as a childrens song, but it often brings tears to my eyes when I think about how true the words are. "...with the poor, and mean and lowly, Lived on earth our Saviour holy" and "...And He leads His children on, to the place where He has gone'". It's an intensely beautiful song.

Once in royal Davids city,
Stood a lowly cattle shed,
Where a mother laid her Baby,
In a manger for His bed:
Mary was that mother mild,
Jesus Christ, her little Child.

He came down to earth from heaven,
Who is God and Lord of all,
And His shelter was a stable,
And His cradle was a stall:
With the poor, and mean, and lowly,
Lived on earth our Saviour holy.

For He is our childhood's pattern;
Day by day, like us, He grew;
He was little, weak, and helpless,
Tears and smiles, like us He knew;
And He feeleth for our sadness.
And He shareth in our gladness.

And our eyes at last shall see Him,
Through His own redeeming love;
For that Child so dear and gentle,
Is our Lord in heaven above:
And He leads His children on,
To the place where He is gone.

"Oh Holy Night" by Johnny Mathis.

I named my middle son "Zachary" after the John Denver song "A Baby Just Like You"; he was born December 1st.

My favorite Christmas song is "This is Christmas" performed by Luther Vandross:

Dont be discouraged
Dont be dismayed
There's hope for all in this world
Cause this is Christmas day
Say A little prayer for the world

God Teach us love
though you think he doesn't hear
I know he does.

This is Christmas
Let the world sing
Let a soul began to heal
Hallejuah this is Christmas
And with love we can began today

Christmas bells ring
Peoples heart sing
I forget about all the troubles I seem to have.
tell myself to feel how my brother feels
Try to love'em then maybe then I could understand.

Make a little room in our hearts
No hearts to small
Can love each other today
Cause after all

This is Christmas
Let the world sing
Let a soul began to heal
Hallejuah this is christmas
And with love we can began today

Come Come Come see the little one
Come Come Come see the little one
Come see the baby
Come see the baby

This is Christmas
Let the world sing
Let a soul began to heal
Hallejuah this is christmas
And with love we can began today

O Holy Night, sung by Andy Williams on his 'red' album.

Actually, Christmas music is my 'most favoritist' type of music, especially the old Christmas hymns. I just love this time of year, such beautiful, meaningful music!
