the chances that any chicken should need air conditioning is pretty rare unless you are getting commercial heavy meat breeds.
My chicken of choice is the speckled sussex. Even for your situation...

yep, thats what i do. kids raised on their mothers, esp. boers do much better and fatten faster than bottle raising. a future breeder, i preferr to bottle raise just because they are so much easier...

sounds like a stroke. bucket feeding is what i would try. If that doesnt work then you could tube feed him. If you want to invest more into him you could have a vet put in a permanent feeding tube.

Isnt salmonella spread through direct contact. Like your chickens would have to peck at the dead bird, or infected birds poo?

this could be normal if the tree is older. Its common for older trees to peel bark a little. However it could also mean a fungus or pest has taken up hiding in the tree. It wouldnt hurt to spray it...

yes you can pretty much. knowing that goats milk will produce a softer cheese than cows milk will. yogurt will be much looser etc..but you can do anything with it you can do with cows milk.
