Default hello from northern Thailand

Well, Oliver... thought to email you again this morning, not having heard from you recently about the technical problem (might your reply have gotten marked as spam and then deleted? I've now disabled spam checking, too many mistakes by Yahoo)... then decided to try registering again... and here we are!

..."we" being the person typing here, Ken (American), and my wife Thu Huong (Vietnamese), and our son Carlton Sylvain, Isara Aran [the Thai script showed up properly while entering this originally, but turned into อิสระ อรัญ later! :-( ], 14 months and counting (American and Vietnamese and Thai), and both of which names signify "free man of the forest".

Anyway... we are looking to start doing the "backwoods home" thing as soon as possible. *The burning question for us is, in Thailand or the US? ...and we'll be hoping for some answers to specific questions (to be posted later) in the near future here!

Thanks, and best to all,

-Ken & Thu Huong & Carlton Sylvain
