When you meet the minimum requirements, the stars will turn green. The forum software is set up to do that automatically. It isn't a case where someone has to go in and change the colors for you, it will happen when you complete the minimum time + posting. Just be patient.

The forum rules state that there is to be one ad per member. Maybe you would be better off posting the link to your site/s and not trying to continually updating content.

Oh. Okay, now I understand. Until now I hadn't heard that time was a factor too, although I suspected it.

This is not a new problem for me one day I can edit the next I can't.

That's a problem I'd not anticipated.

I'll see if there is a way to work around that.

I'm glad you ask about this.

You should have been promoted to Confirmed long ago. Turns out someone inadvertently reset the requirements incorrectly. That someone shall remain unidentified to preserve the illusion of infallibility required of an admin.

They have been fixed and you will note your stars are green.

Thanks!

Bill, I cannot find a way to enable editing in just that board.

I've revised the posting instructions to reflect the new editing restrictions.

We now recommend members post a detailed description of their business along with a link to their website.

If you send me a PM with the description and link you would like to use, I will edit your listing.

Thanks.

Thank you very much.

Obviously you weren't speaking of yourself, right?

Oliver,

Could you fix the Member Business forum to not have the two day restriction?

I would like to update the thread, and it will not let me.

I am sure you do not want 'outdated' in there.

Or give us the option to delete the old and create new. That would work.

Sarah

Sarah,

The member business board is more for business links and not classified ads. Rather than posting items that need changing, why don't you post the website link, or other contact info that won't have to be updated.

If you want to do that, and since members are only allowed one posting, I'll edit your current posting this time. Just send me what you would like your permanent business link to say. You can send it to me via PM.

Paul
