Default Greetings From High in the Rockies

Greetings to one and all;

Just a line or two to give you a few hints about who I am and why I'm here...

Found this place after a web search about ferro-cement introduced me to Backwoods Bob's new tool shed. I am planning out a new [and improved] hen house to keep my big Australops laying thru the winter [of 2010] as they slowed down considerably when the mercury hit around 35 below here in my neck o' the woods.

Anyway after shamelessly siphoning all the tricks I could from his pics I browsed [read lurked] around enough to get the idea I just might fit in fairly well hereabouts.

So here I am, and when I get around to starting that straw bale filled, post & beam framed, ferrocement sided, rainwater harvesting straight into the hen waterer, fox/coyote/racoon/hawk & eagle proof rest home for Austalops I promise to take lots o' pics and post 'em up here to pay back what I siphoned.

Lookin' forward to conversing with ya...

Mark

Welcome. I'm pretty new here too, but I'll tell you, this board is brimming with knowledge. The search button has answered pretty much every question I've had so far.

I am counting on that knowledge! I think it'll be awhile before I can catch up on the current postings enuf that I come with questions I will need to use that search function for. [but I do know to search first ask second]

I can already see I'll have to re-think some of current plans just from what I've read so far. I REALLY hate to have to re-do things from lack of foresight.

Thanks for the welcome!
