Default Good Morning from the UP

I just wanted to say hi to everybody on the Forum.

We are R and T, I'm R, and the female half of the couple. We just bought our own little piece of paradise in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. 16 acres worth of paradise! And LOTS of plans for it!

I've been lurking for a while, but can now join in the forum. Have learned a lot from here, and I feel like I know a lot of you already. Hopefully, T and I can also be helpful to others - we have a LOT of combined life experience.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

~ R

Hello and welcome R and T. I just realized that by updating my old post, I knocked your post from the top of the list before you got any replies, so I thought I'd say hello and bump your post back up.

Looking forward to reading how things are coming along on you 16 acres of paradise.

Welcome to the forum....finally. lol You've made this statement in two of your postings. I hope you (and others) don't think you have to be on acreage or already homesteading to join the forum.... Anyone can join and is welcome, even if you are just in the dreaming stages and gathering info.

I look forward to reading your posts and seeing pics.

Paul

Thank you, all of you - I will be posting updates on what we get done under my post in the Homesteading section.

LOL, Boris..........Troll under the bridge - I love that!

Paul - My statements about not joining in previously were really referring to how hectic things have been for us, not that I didn't feel that I had nothing to share, or that I thought we needed acreage to be welcome here. But, I'm glad I have the time to share, now!

Not2L8 - How sweet of you! I read your hello - I've been through some really tough times, too. It WILL get better.
