Sinus infection
Need a bit of help from you guys. DH is suffering with what he believes is a sinus infection. It is Sunday afternoon and he would rather visit his in-laws than go to the urgicare center which is also 80 miles away.
So what can he do? The only "clean" animal meds around are some boluses for scoury calves. We have both the big blue ones and the little yellow ones. Are they safe for him to take? We don't have the bottle anymore. Of course if he doesn't stop bellyaching soon I may solve the problem permanently

Tried a saline flush yet? That's usually a good first step.

Been doing that when his ears can stand the pressure. Helps but then the crap comes right back. Seems to be a never-ending supply.

Did a BWH search and found an old thread on this topic. Going to try the peroxide in his flush. BWH rocks!

I'll second that for the neti pot being a good solution, seems weird at first but after my nasal surgery my doc said it was ok to use it every day if I wanted. I opted for thesinus rinse bottle that you squeeze as it was much easier for me but either way is good.

I have been using my Neti Pot for years, whenever I have anything nasal/sinus related. When the mucous which flushes out is anything other than a clear color, then I add a few drops of hydrogen pyroxide (no stronger than 3 percent) and flush out a few times/day. Works great for me!!!

My husband, son, and I have had it for 6 months. I'm blaming the chemtrails.

When we took DH to the DR (See original post) for his sinus infection, turned out his blood pressure was well past stroke level! I believe his sinus infection may have saved his life.
On meds now.
Junie, you may be right about what is making your family ill. DH played in river backwaters as a child in an area where the oil companies dumped all kinds of wastes into the rivers. I believe that is the root cause of his perpetually weakened immune system. Of course they wouldn't do such a thing now!

Crackergirl, praise God they found out about his blood pressure! Just goes to show that blessings can come in many disguises. Hope he's feeling better soon!

Iv been treating it with hot sauce, that gives me some relief.
I have also been looking for some drops that arnt made with aspartame.
I look up and see the deliberate spaced lines from horizon to horizon as they expand all day long, its otherworldly. i wonder who is doing it?

Water Pic...
Howdy.
Use a water pic with the jet tip removed to irrigate up to a quart of lukewarm water/iodized salt/baking soda solution twice a day for up to 3 weeks if not using antibiotics for treatment. Also an OTC decongestant and antihistimine is suggested too.OzarksJohn

I almost drowned myself with a neti pot, but one of my medical friends gave me a little sample kit which included a squirt bottle and some tablets to desolve in warm water. The thing works great! I can use whatever solution I want and I'm not gasping for my last breath. My daughter told me to open my mouth when squirting the water and that works great too. The squirt bottle holds about 8 oz. of water or saline.

I've been watching this thread since you posted that question, hoping someone had an answer. I would love to know who's doing it, too. I've been trying to find out for nearly 10 years.
I know our government is responsible for allowing it (full time since Oct. 2005), I found the documentation on Library of Congress' website, but not who is actually ordering it, who is actually doing it, and who is responsible for it worldwide.

I entered this in another thread but I'll try this again , try a straw dipped into apple cider vinegar about half an inch , cover it with a finger so to hold it in the straw , tilt his head over and release it into the ear canal ,,,,, make sure he is lying down , it can get spinning in the room ! lol
My mom's home remedy , it worked for me when doctors couldn't figure it out !

If I had only known
Wish I had known that when my children were small and often had ear trouble. Did learn that a few drops of breast milk in the eye can stop pinkeye in children in its tracks! No trip to the doctor, no antibiotic pills. But it's better (IMO) to put it in an eye dropper and NOT tell the child what it is!! LOL

You may also want to keep some Xlear Xylitol Sinus/Nasal Spray on hand. It has worked for me for the last few years.
