Hi, Johnny! Welcome to the forum!
Like everything else, knowing where to begin is always based on where you are.
What amenities do you have - land, a house, a garden, a barn, a tractor, or a horse and a plowshare?

What skills do you have?

What skills can you learn - or should you instead barter for? For example, maybe you can grow anything you plant - but maybe your bread-baking skills need work. Should you just trade produce for bread, or should you learn to bake bread?

Can you hunt or fish, clean your kills, butcher and cook them? Or do you have to trade for meat?

Make a list of everything you HAVE, then of everything you think you will need - skills included. And that's where you start!

This forum is awesome in teaching and sharing.... hope you enjoy it here!

Well i have been dabling into the homesteading for about 2 years now and just doing the trial and error of the garden this year lol, also we usually get extra foods and learning to make soap but def need to learn to make bread ,
but here goes:
Have a house and 1 acre
Very quick learner and very skillful
Can hunt, fish, clean, smoke, and have many guns , a bow , fishing gear . so i can hold my own if the SHTF

Mainly looking for people who have actually lived off the grid , what types of storage for big food supplies and pretty much could go on all day but really looking to learn and maybe help others as well .
