Hey TammyLynn

an Welcome to the forum..
Those words up there are so true. When we're in the midst of suffering we don't care much that this time is knitting into our fabric selves things that help make us stronger for later.. but thas what's happening right now for ya'll.
Gosh, there is no easy way to sugarcoat this crisis time in your lives. But I can promise you that God is in your midst, hurting with you and loving you through this time. If ya'll will ask Him for comfort and help.. He will bring healing and a place to step to when it's time to move past this grieving time.
I was only 8 years old when my father died and I never got over it. Thas all right too, it made me stronger to carry that loss all through my lifetime. I know God had a reason for putting Poppa into and for taking him out of my life.. it's jus not how I would have written the story..
It's not that we are not loved enough when someone takes their life I think.. but they were not strong enough, brave enough, maybe not walking in faith with the Lord, to be able to take the next step and the next. We get so tired on our Journey. My children can tell you a saying I always have said to them. "We live and we die by the choices we make" (make good choices). And so it is that one was made by your husband that is devastating. Somehow, if your children can be strong and achieve healing, they can bloom into compassionate young adults who can help others along the way, because they'll understand tremendous grief. God can use anything to the good.. I hope ya'll are leaning on Him now. And I'll pray so hard for your family.
Lord God, please be in the midst of TammyLynn's family as they are grieving now. Lord, provide whatever is needed for these dear ones to move beyond sorrow into healing and goodness. We do not unnerstand everything that happens, but we do have the faith to know You never wink nor sleep.. and that You are in the midst of the storm.. even if we feel we are drowning. Please comfort them, by Thy Holy Spirit, and send the angels of Thy choosing to protect them. Make the way clear for their tomorrow and please allow this loss to become something of strength and goodness as they Journey. Bless an keep them, Lord.
in Jesus name,
amen
Be Strong
