Chat add-ons
Did you have to add the chat-chat add ons as advertised adding that you need java to get into chat?
I finally got java script 64 bit added but it still wont let me in.
First time I have ver had trouble getting into chat in years,.

Nope; no add-ons required for me, Annie.
Or were you talking about the text at the top of the window that opens... something like: chataddon.php/ etc?
That's the floating (popup) chat window script loading. Be patient, let it load... it takes almost a minute on my computer. Which might seem like a long time. Of course, your browser will need to allow popup windows and your antivirus might have heart palpitations about a script trying to run....

I'll keep my fingers crossed!
Gotta tell ya - every time I've finally gotten a problem like this solved - it was something so simple that I was smacking my head on brick walls and kicking myself at the same time, for not thinking of it.
Sometimes it just takes a fresh set of eyes - and brain - to figure it out.

I'd like to smack this computer---it has a mind of its own.
I did some more systems checking after the days running around.
I know its simple---I am just afraid I will break----this high price machine.
By the time I figure it out and get all the bells and whitles working it'll be obselete.LOL
Tks

Annie, So sorry ya having troubles.
Have ya tried to back up to a date when ya could get in to chat.
Seems like I had to do that one time. Sometimes my updates miss something up, so I back up to a date before I had troubles. Then it will update again & do it right. Then all is well.

On mine (it's windows 7) go to start, then control panel, then systems & security, then action center, there you will find recovery, there you can choose a earlier date to back up to. I'm not much on computors, but I have had to do this before so know how lol
Sure hope this helps ya
