In need of prayers
I don't normally post in this section, but I am going through a really rough time in my marriage right now and I would appreciate some prayers.
We have just moved to our new homestead, and while it should be a time of rejoicing, instead it has just served to amplify some ugly things that have been festering for some time.
I feel pretty lost right now. And tired of the same old junk. It would be a comfort to know someone was praying that things might look up for me. Thank you.

Thank you both. Things are pretty bad at the moment, and I am feeling very tired. It's hard at these times to have enough strength to be a good mother to the children, when I just feel like crying. I appreciate the prayers.

I will pray but I'm not sure what for, so the best I can do is pray that both of you will get Christ centered

Praying that you and your husband will begin to regain the love you had when you married, that Christ will be center of your homestead, and that you have peace there....and I will pray for you several more times today. I know how hurt you must feel...

Thanks so much everyone. Some days are better than others, but overall the base problems remain. Alcohol is the big one. So thanks everyone for your prayers, I really appreciate it.

This young lady is hanging on.
Let us pray for intervention of Almighty God in her life.
Its a harsh problem and threatens to tear her little family apart.
She needs our prayers our strengh and our love.
Lay the problem on the alter of praise--in a twinkling of an eye
Almighty God--Great Jehovah can deal with it---
I want her to know I love her--God loves and we all love her.
Please Father--touch this family--we ask once again you deal with it.
We are weak and lowly in our hour of need---Only you Father can heal this family.
We humbly ask your help.
In the name of Jesus Christ Our LORD and SAVIOR.
Thank you Father for your many blessings today.
Hugs and love
annie

Thank you so much. I have been going through a really rough time lately. I think though, and hope and pray, that the worst is over. I think my husband and I will pull through this. Thanks again everyone.

Oh, what a truth in the old saying that if one moves, your troubles have a tendency to pack up and move with you.
Dear Jesus, be with this couple. We don't know the situation but you do. You're the one who knows us best and yet you love us most. We know that the adversary is out to destroy families. We pray Lord Jesus for this little family, Lord, that you will bring healing, restoration, strength and peace. That you will draw both of them together in you. That they will be brought before your mercy seat and will seek forgiveness and experience love and a peace that passeth all understanding. May they both realize that marriage is a commitment not only to eachother but to you.
May they seek to glorify you in all things and may they seek to get into your word. Speak to their hearts and their needs. Lord I don't know if they're saved or not, but we know you died on Calvary's cross for their sins and if they're not saved I pray you'll make them miserable in their sin until they turn to you and experience forgiveness and grace. Cause each one to repent and turn from anything in their life that is not glorifying to you.
Lrd we thank you that we can come before your throne of grace because you've made access for is by the blood of Calvary's cross you've shed for us. Bless your name Lord for what you've done for all of us and bless your precious name Lord for what you want to do in the lives of these young folks. In your glorious name dear Jesus we pray.

Sending healing and uplifting thoughts your way. I know what alcohol can do to a family.

I have been following this thread and I would like to add that I too have prayed for your family, Charlotte. I believe the Lord is always faithful to us, and that He never abandons us if we don't abandon Him. If we believe in His ability to do anything, He will not disappoint us. Just look at the post Annie made the other day about her son, about how he has become sober. The Lord WILL make a way for us. We just have to keep believing He will even when it seems He's not listening to us at all. But He hears, He sees, He knows better than anyone what's wrong and what that person is going to have to do to change what's wrong. He will nudge us in the right direction, He will give us signs if we will just get our heads out of the dirt long enough to see them. The Lord will make a way for you and you husband and family. It may or may not be the way you would like it to be, or the way you had planned everything out to be, but just TRUST, and He WILL make a way that will turn out in the end to be better for you and your family than you could have planned yourself.
God is faithful, he won't let you fall. Just trust, keep faith, and wait, even though it seems you're waiting forever.
