Default TSA Allows Knives on Flights Beginning April 25th

A TSA official made this statement today at a Brooklyn, NY aviation conference.

The caveat is "blade less than 2/4", non-locking blade and no molded handles". More of the "how it looks is more important than how it functions" with that last part I think.

Wonder if ladies can carry knitting needles and crochet hooks now?

Not that I ever intend to fly anywhere ever again...
