I have a friend who is a wildlife rehabilitator that raised a baby nutria he found while on his job as a beaver control agent. Henry, as he became know, was a huge hit when my friend did wildlife presentations to various groups. He loved be handled and petted. One day, Henry escaped his pen and was gone for several months. Then, one day, as my friend was making his rounds to feed his other wild critters, there was Henry back at his old pen waiting to be fed. There he stayed until he died a natural death of old age.
