Default Hello from Maine

Hi! I'm Robin. My husband and I homestead in a rural/remote area of Maine. We have 45 acres and are fairly self sufficient. We raise, hunt and fish, forage, grow and otherwise provide most of our food. We've been out here in the woods for 16 years.

Crazy. It started with sleet, changed to snow for a short time, then it rained. We've had a lot of flooding. Our pond is over its banks. The rainbow trout have plenty of fresh water to get through the winter. We have bare spots on the grass here and there until it snows again today.
