Default Need an external CD player/drive

I got a sweet (cheap) little laptop last month on sale - internet only, but I'd like to use it with Microsoft Office Suite and not for the net. However, being cheap, it didn't come with any sort of media drives at all. I have MS Suite on a CD, so I need an external CD drive. I'm just not sure what to get!

There's a load of different ones with a wide variety of prices. I have a Best Buy gift card burning a hole in my purse, so as long as it's under $100, I can do it. Is it worth it go get one for $75 when there's one for $16?
"Someday" is not a day of the week...but if it were, it sure would be a busy day!

Just took a quick look at the external CD drives on bestbuy.

The reason the one is only $16 is because it is a reader only and not a writer. If all you want it to do is read your CD that is fine. That one will not write to CD's. Also all the rest will read/write DVD's.
It is what it is

Better check your disk.
It may not be a CD. If it's a DVD you'll need a different drive.
They are still cheap.
This one is a highly rated DVD drive for $16 shipped.

For about $25 you can get the kind that will burn your own CDs or DVDs
