Default Hi from Alabama.

Hey everyone. This looks like a great forum. I'm looking forward to chatting and getting to know you all. I'm from Central Alabama. I'm on 6 acres in the country and trying to live on my on out here. Lots to do and I have questions and stories. I'm also a big ole Alabama football fan. I'll try to refrain from saying Roll Tide to much.

Roll Tide, BackwoodsDiva! I live in Colorado now. Used to live in Georgia for a while but am originally from Mobile, Alabama. There are actually a lot of us in Colorado Springs and Denver who watch the Tide. I am new here to the forum as well. Looking forward to getting any ideas and inspiration from here as well as giving some input.

Welcome aboard.
Always good to have new people.
I'm sure there will be a Georgia fan along shortly to give you grief.

backlash, I have to be honest. I'm a diehard Tide fan but I have been glad to see that the rest of the country is not as dysfunctional as us down south when it comes to college football.

Welcome Diva, this Texan now living in middle TN is glad you're here.
About the Tide; although I went to USC and TCU a couple of family members are Texas Aggie teachers and they bragged endlessly about their victory in the "spoiler game." To appease the family Aggies, I tended to wear an Aggie hat on the day of the Tide v. Aggie game but after last season's debacle I put a big, black "X" on the TA&M logo of some hats and then mailed one to each of them. Kept one for myself, too. If it's SEC, I'm crimson all the way now.

Funny stuff oeb I have to say though, Aggie fans are class all the way, probably the most classy in the SEC :-)
