Default Garlic and vinegar homemade spray for Equine

Hi Everyone, does anyone have a good homemade insect repellent for horses...
I use Garlic and vinegar in a spray bottle and it does work, for a short while. Does anyone have any other recipes? Also, I found Bott fly eggs on them and combed them clean. Other than using worm paste etc. does anyone have a homemade remedy for worms etc...

If you can get them to eat the garlic, it comes out in their sweat and works better. Avon's Skin So Soft is the best, but expensive.
