Interesting video, klamath. Since it is off grid, what is the power source? Where the freezer is located would also be valuable information too.

Sorry about that. It is located in Northern California. Here is the power.

Our climate & temperatures are so intense here, it would make such an endeavor almost pointless. To build something similar underground here might be possible in just the right location, but the location would have to be well drained, or one would just have an underground swimming pool during the rainy season, and then most likely mold would be the next problem.
