Thumbs up A Widow's Walk...

Anne, I just read your book in 2 days...every spare minute and some that weren't spare but I took 'em anyway. I couldn't put it down!! What an amazing story and inspiring woman you are. I would love to read another book by you -- maybe more stories from your ten year homesteading time. You really gave me the WANTS for a life like that. I'll be re-reading and gleaning from it a lot.

First, thank you for buying the book.
Yes it was a journey and I dont know about a sequel.

But I do have another one fiction that I am doing research on.
Of course I have the finest editor and publisher in the world.
Marshall Mason Publishers.

You know you can do it.
Remember you will have to do it your way and I pray I gave you the courage to do so.
Thats what the book is about.
Courage to be ourselves.

Txanne just got done reading your book. Couldn't put it down. One of the best books that i've read. Someday when I retire that will be mostly my lifestyle that I want to live. It is just so inspiring.

Default Great book!

I read this book a couple of weeks ago. Just loved it! I really was right there with you Txanne regarding needing a place to be quiet and grieve. I experienced alot of what you did in the two years after losing my parents. I was living in my tiny camper in the woods in rural Arkansas. That period brought me back to being able to be human again. I survived a blizzard and social isolation! I've always read books about women surviving alone in the wilderness. I regularly take my dogs into the woods here with me in West TN for a few days to get myself grounded again. Your book is right up there with "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed. Thank you so much for putting your experience in this incredible book!

Annie's book truly IS a wonderful read. I think everyone should get it & give it a whirl. You will be inspired & resolved to know that you can indeed handle anything that comes your way. Thanks for writing it, Annie!!

I found that social isolation was my first hurdle---having been in a with someone 24/7 It was indeed hard---it took awhile to adjust mentally.

Thank you for your kind words.

I finished this last night. A lot of the challenges you faced are very different to those here in Scotland, but I found it inspiring and a good read.

I wonder what has happened to Annie. We haven't heard from her in some time. I hope nothing bad has happened in her life.

Thanks for that. I won't visit any Facebook pages so I guess I'll have to wait to see if she posts anything here.
