Default Bagels

Well youngest son is taking a baking and pastry class during his senior year at poly tec, and they are doing a big project where each student starts a business. So my son decided to start a bagel breakfast type place. So on Sunday we decide to make bagels. It took awhile because of all the rising time but man were they good! Store bought can't hold a candle to these. Well worth all the effort and we will make them again!

Anyone else out there make their own bagels? I got the recipe off of You Tube and we were quite happy with the outcome!

We homeschooled for many years, and when the children were young we made bagels a number of times. Only two of us now and the wife can't eat wheat, so we no longer do that sort of thing. I do sometimes miss them, though.
