I've never eaten walrus, but my sons say it is one of the worst meats ever.

Interesting..... Doing a Google of "walrus recipes" here is an example of an adaptation of a traditional tribal recipe to modern times.

What other reading I did kinda tells me it is like any number of wild game meats as it is an acquired taste.

I sure would try it, at least once.
