Default Breaker is tripping

Ok I have a 20a breaker tripping in my box and wanted to know if it is possible the breaker is bad and NOT my freezer that's on that line? It trips and reset it for hours it works then I come back in the morning and its tripped. Is it possible it could be just the breaker? I unplugged anything else on that circuit btw. Yea probably the freezer but I was praying s simpler issue.

Switch it with another one of the same size and see what happens.
If it trips the new breaker it's a problem in the circuit or freezer.
If it doesn't the breaker is likely the problem.

Also while you have the power off, check the outlets for any loose connections.

Breakers are cheap. Get some spares to have on hand.

I have had a bad breaker before.
I swapped the breaker with another one in the panel and the tripping followed, so bad breaker.
In your case it might be the freezer compressor kicking on and tripping it.
Swapping the breakers is easy, fast and free.
Like Bearfootfarm said check for loose wires.
Especially ground wires in the panel.
